Ingredients: Diatomaceous earth (DE) fullers earth, pure food grade garlic extracts combined with palatable lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation solubles rich in metabolites.

Mechanical Mode of Action: When the product is excreted in the animals waste there is a significant reduction in populations caused by the mechanical and synergistic effects of the ingredients in the DW-123 formulation. This equine formulation also aids in preventing transmittance.

Please Note: Adding a bit of raw honey or molasses enhances the flavor for finicky horses. This will also allow the powdered product to stick and adhere to the grains and will prevent settling to the bottom of feeding bowls.

Ingredients Information: Diatomaceous earth and garlic have been traditional cures for worms and other internal parasites.

Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.) is a safe, non-toxic substance made up of fossils of freshwater organisms and marine life. It is a feed supplement, dewormer for animals and a treatment for stored grain. Millions of years ago, these one-celled organisms called diatoms took the minerals from the waters and created protective shells for themselves. Under a microscope, these crushed diatoms resemble shards of broken glass. DE kills bugs physically by actually puncturing the insect's exo-skeleton, causing death by dehydration. While it is deadly to insects, it does not endanger animals, plants or people.

Garlic has been known to deter biting flies. Rich in sulfur, once garlic is ingested it will cleanse the blood and then be excreted through the pores of the skin where sulfur compounds are mildly noxious to parasites.

Garlic is also used for respiratory disorders due to it's expectorant qualities and is one of the known herbs to prevent and fight infections. 

Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation solubles are the condensed substrate of the fermentation of whey inoculated with lactic acid bacteria and fortified with specific microbial nutrients. They are rich in the metabolites produced by probiotics and therefore act as stimulants for growth and reproduction of beneficial intestinal microorganisms. These solubles are also documented growth inhibitors for pathogens (e.g. salmonella).
